Charming hotel of the twenties, the Majestic hotel in Chatelaillon plage is also a haven of peace.

A little bit of history

The Majestic was created in the end of the 19th century with a lovely staircase which decorates the entry. At the end of the First World War, it becomes a cinema until 1926. Bought back in 1927 and after a lot of renovation, it becomes a hotel under the name of Majestic and opens its doors in November, 1928.
The restaurant part will open in the 30s, with the name “Roaring Twenties”. Its staircase, its floor stones and its friezes are all from that period.
2008 is a big year fro the Majestic because it will be celebrating its 80 years old.
Some famous Characters have stayed here such as Jean Marais.
